President, Willee Cooper
"Welcome to our new website! I hope you will visit it often.
My theme for the coming year is—Reclaiming
the Legacy! Proclaiming the Legacy! Kentucky Republican
Women are confidently
embracing the future as we “Reclaim
and Proclaim our Legacy.” Republican women have a
wonderful story to tell, and we are embarking on a campaign
to tell it. The true history of both our nation and
the Republican Party is ours to reclaim and to proclaim.
First we will reclaim our legacy by highlighting a forgotten
or distorted historical fact each month. I urge you to
add “Taking Time for Civics” as an agenda item during your
monthly meetings and to focus on the highlighted historical
fact. Then we will proclaim our legacy by pledging to
“Find Five.” During the month, we will make a
concerted effort to tell the highlighted historical point at
least five times in five completely different venues.
This is an exciting time to be a Republican woman and the
Kentucky Federation of Republican Women is poised to become
a mighty political force."
